Bulgarian-born, Devora moved to England at the age of six. Following an early stint as Sneezy the dwarf in her school's production of Snow White, she decided that acting was definitely on the cards. However, first, other passions prevailed; namely exploring stories through language, which led to a first class degree in English Literature from The University of Warwick followed by a Masters in Fashion Journalism from The London College of Fashion.
After a chance small role in Ron Howard’s Rush, Devora finally decided it was now or never, and accepted a place on Drama Studio London’s Postgraduate Acting Course. Following graduation, she has enjoyed working in all areas of the industry, most notably in films, TV and commercials. She has shot commercials for the likes of Nespresso, Pantene, Nitto Denko and Johnnie Walker. She has recently completed several feature films, including roles in upcoming psychological thriller The Dare (Millennium Films), The Tombs (Templeheart Films) and False Witness (Substantial Films). Short film A Precious Life, in which Devora played a major supporting role, premiered at this year's Cannes Film Festival, while Devora's lead role in film If...Girlfriend Deluxe won the Homespun Yarns 2018 Film Competition. On our screens, Devora can seen in 999: Killer on the Line (Sky), as well as in Hollyoaks (Channel 4) as the recurring character of Georgia and as one of the leads, Julia Boyanova, in hit Bulgarian TV show Stolen Life (Nova TV). Devora is also a voice actress, having lent her sound to several commercials for brands such as Trivago, as well as a host of upcoming video games.
Devora co-created her own company, Black Cat Theatre, with her business partner Alex Di Cuffa, which focuses on new writing – their first show, "The Millennials," enjoyed huge sell-out success at The Courtyard Theatre, London, with subsequent shows taking place at The Southwark Playhouse and The Pleasance Theatre.
Devora supports young Bulgarian artists through her work with the Art Foundation Stoyan Kambarev. She has hosted the foundation's charity gala for the past two years, which aims to raise money and awareness for gifted and talented Bulgarian musicians, singers, actors and artists.
Devora is part of Anthony Meindl Actors Workshop, where she continues to hone her craft.
